Canada’s longest running free-admission folk festival is now in its 35th year! More than 15,000 people come together to enjoy our region’s second largest cultural event.

Mark your calendars for August 15-18, 2024 for four days of music, culture and community as we come together on the hillside at Nicholls Oval Park next to the mighty Otonabee River.

As a volunteer-run registered charity, your community leadership and support is vital to the success of promoting and preserving this cultural gem that’s inclusive, welcoming and accessible to everyone. In 2024, Peterborough Folk Festival will welcome over 30 artists and bands, including 12 local performers. The lineup once again features full gender parity and strong diversity, including Indigenous artists, artists of colour and artists from the LGBTQ+ communities.

Peterborough Folk Festival 2024 will feature four days of music, with ticketed concerts on August 15 & 16 followed by two full days of the free-admission festival at Nicholls Oval Park on August 17 & 18.

Platinum-selling indie folk trio Wild Rivers kicks off PFF 2024 with a concert at Market Hall Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, August 15th. Tickets are available on the Market Hall website here: https://tickets.markethall.org/rivers24

Nicholls Oval Park will feature three stages of live music - Miskin Law Main Stage, Cameron’s Pavilion Stage, and Generation Solar Stage - as well as our family-friendly Children's Village, Artisan Village, Food Village, Cameron’s Pavilion, Merchandise Booth, and more.
